Blues Festival Ride - Kingston August 25th, 2001 (Saturday)

The Blues Festival is on in Kingston!  We're meeting at Tim Horton's at Centennial Dr. and Princess Street at 10:00 a.m. and leaving at 10:30 a.m..  We'll end up across from City Hall at around 1:30 p.m. .   CYA there!

Observation Ride - Kingston to Belleville August 26th, 2001 (Sunday)

Sunriders are kicking off an Observation Ride from Kingston to Belleville and back.  We meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Tim Horton's at Centennial Dr. and Princess Street.  Prizes and loads o' fun!

Ride for M.S. Sunday, September 2nd, 2001

Martin, Chris and I are meeting up with some of the Sunriders group at the Tim Horton's at the Beaver Lumber Center at 9:00 sharp.  From there we're going to Motosport Plus where they're having rides for M.S. (Muscular Dystrophy).  One short and one long ride.  (I'm in for the short one!).  The ride itself is only FIVE dollars and that is being given to M.S.  There are also tickets available for $20. each for MS and a chance to win a Harley.

Trenton Toy Ride Saturday, September 8th, 2001 - 12:00 p.m.. Zellers in Trenton at noon.  Toy Ride is for the Salvation Army -  leaves at 12:00 p.m..
Ottawa - Great Motorcycle Toy Parade

Saturday, September 8th, 2001 - 12:00 p.m..

HOG's "Great Motorcycle Toy Parade" is happening this weekend (Saturday September 8, 2001). It`s an open event for all motorcyclists. We usually get around 600 bikes participating in the event, riding everything from Aprillas to Yamahas and everything in between.

Location:  Queen Juliana Park (Next to Dows Lake on Prince of Wales Drive) - the Main Access Point will be Carling and Sherwood - on your left two streets past Carling and Preston.

Event Details:

9am-11am - Registration and all you can eat pancake breakfast ($3)
11am-2pm - Poker Run (Closes at 3pm)
2pm-5pm  - Bike Games (Roadkill toss, bicycle tire toss,
                        slow race and plank race)
5pm-6pm  - Prizes and Mini-auction

No fee but bring a toy, non-perishable food item or cash donation.

Location:  Tim Horton's - Centennial Dr. @ Princess St.  Destination:  Desert Lake and just a minute north to Frontenac Provincial Park where we'll take a break and have some Autumn group pics taken.  Then, it's on over to Verona and up to Westport!  Cya there!!!

Calabogie Ride 2

Sunday, September 23rd, 2001

Al & Jen Dodd are leading a Sunday Group (Sun Riders) up to Calabogie through Westport and Perth, on to Hwy 41 and south on Buckhorn Lake Rd to Plevna.  From there, they'll head south on Ardock Rd to Hwy7 and westward along Lake Rd to Parham.  They'll head back to Kingston from there.  In total, the ride will be roughly 300 kms.

Calabogie Ride

Bound for Calabogie with the Tony's Cycle Calabogie Fall Ride, we had an excellent ride - the best yet.  Check out the event here .  This was the last TC Ride for the year.

Slowpoke Ride

Saturday, September 15th, 2001

Riders from west and east of Kingston will be riding to Bewdley on Rice Lake, Ontario - a scenic, slowpoke ride (speed limit).  The scenery and company is great!  We'll also get a chance to meet our online buddies and put a face to the names.  Everyone welcome.  Please r.s.v.p. if you're interested to slowpoke@canadianmotorcyclist.com or email Kevin.    This ride is confirmed.  SLOWPOKE
