Peace Ride 2002

Rendez-vous - Calabogie, Ontario - Buckhorn Restaurant

= Schedule =

9:00 a.m. meet at Tim Horton's (Princess Street @ Centennial Drive) Kingston, ON.
9:30 a.m. Depart
10:15 a.m. quick stop in Kaladar for gas
12:30 - 1:00 p.m. arrive in Calabogie, Ont. Gas up & eat - Photos.
2:00 p.m. depart Calabogie - heading south on Hwy 511 to Perth, Ont.
*This is the portion of the ride dedicated to the participation of our friends who may not be able to make the entire ride.  Ride with us here and you've participated.
2:45 p.m. arrive in Perth.  Here we can either part ways or complete the ride to Kingston.
3:30 p.m. arrive in Westport and gas up.
4:30 p.m. arrive in Kingston.
*Times are approximate and based on estimates from the dry run but we'll stick rigidly to departure times where possible. Check back here for unforseen changes.

Route from Kingston:
Taylor Kidd Blvd west to County Road 6.
County Road 6 north to 1st flashing light north of Hwy 401
West to County Road 4
County Road 4 north to Tamworth - then westward to Hwy 41.
Hwy 41 north to Kaladar (intersection of Hwy 7 and Hwy 41.
Hwy 41 north to Hwy 506.
Hwy 506 to Plevna
Buckshot Lake road north to Vennachar.
Matawatchan Road east to Calabogie - follow the signs for Calabogie Rd.

Next Year (2003)
What we're hoping for in 2003 is the assistance of other groups and individuals to organize their trips to the (pre-determined) rendez-vous point at which time we'll all form up and ride in solidarity for peace.  Anyone interested in organizing a ride from your area to the rendez-vous point, please contact us here.
