This year we met at the Buckhorn Restaurant in Calabogie, Ontario where we chatted, had lunch, waved at Nathan and Penny, ogled each others' motorcycles, threw peace signs around as much as our retro inner-children would allow and participated on the Peace Ride from Calabogie to Perth on Hwy 511.
It was a perfect day for riding, for being with friends, making new friends and for contemplating how fortunate we are to live in relative peace and freedom.
Next Year (2003)
What we're hoping for in 2003 is the assistance of other
groups and individuals to organize their trips to the (pre-determined)
rendez-vous point at which time we'll all form up and ride in solidarity for
